Oh Come On!

Hmm, the thing with not having a job is that, sometimes I feel really good, i'd say: this is so cool I have so much time and can do whatever I want! but sometimes, I just Freak Out!

Alkmaar

Alkmaar is 30 mins away by train from Amsterdam, it's famous of its cheese market. More than 3000 kg of cheese is gathered to be auctioned.

That was a lot of cheese! Other than the market, the stands that sell little handcraft stuff and cheese with different flavor in small portion were also nice. The best ones we tried were chili flavor gouda and herbal gout cheese. We bought a sample box with 5 or 6 different ones, at the beginning it was so tasty, but until the 3rd or 4th, it was just too much...

And the coolest thing was seeing cheese porters throwing cheese around in the container like bowling! Very inspiring...

The reasons why I like Berlin

A typography that I did before I decided to leave Berlin. There are more even more things that I like about Berlin, but there is one important thing in that posh little village-city, so I decided to move there. Sometimes I still miss the time there, it was wonderful!

Egmond aan Zee

We went to Egmond aan Zee, a small village on the North Sea coast in northern Holland, for a weekend early this month. It was warm, still a bit windy, but it was the best beach experience that we had around the North Sea :)

Checking my email...

This is me checking my email constantly, and there's no mail. Whenever my mail box is opened, all I can hear is clock ticking away. I wait, I wait and I wait.

麵包廠臨時工

最近開始在一個麵包工廠打工,一個月打八天,400歐元薪水,
也差不多是我一個月的開支。
過去絕對不會想到有天會到工廠打工,那可是完全不同的世界。
工廠內成員大約是一半德國人一半外國人,
像我一樣的年輕臨時工幾乎都是外國留學生,
反正就賺賺外快,工作起來也悠閒悠閒的。

工作內容大多是把麵包裝到盒子裡,把醜的甜甜圈丟掉之類的事情。
所謂的醜當然包括破掉的,一面沒烤到的,醬料沒沾到的,
但是大多時候是:不大圓的,
這種稍稍有一個角的甜甜圈,完全是可以吃的狀態,
就這樣一個一個的被丟到垃圾箱,有時候幾個小時下來,
可以丟到一兩百多公斤那麼多,
當然在麵團變成麵包的過程中,這些食物就以不同的型態被丟掉。

越看越覺得浪費,覺得自己好像再造孽,
然後找了很多有關糧食危機的資料來看,
再一次印證這個世界還真是不可思議,
什麼狗屁倒灶的事情都有,但是大家都看不到的活的好好的,
看到了的話,也還是要裝作沒看到,阿不然怎麼辦咧。
想得我都快精神分裂了。
如果都還是保持當地的小麵包店,小批小批做,小批小批賣,
大概就不會浪費那麼多東西了吧。
但是就像"電子情書(you've got mail)"裡面的批發書店和小書店的競爭那樣,
溫馨的會念故事給小孩聽的小書店,最後會倒閉,
批發書店的老闆會把小書店的女店員給迷倒,
不管怎樣,最後心服口服啦,反正就是這麼一回事。

水果下大雨

雖然不來梅的夏天只有一個禮拜,
但是夏天的水果都還是有好好長。
前幾天和朋友走回家的路上,看到樹上有好多黃色的果子,
還正在討論能不能吃,彎著腰仔細端看的時候,
就突然被打了!!
因為朋友想一兩顆搖下來,結果搖了至少有50顆!
那是一種黃色,葡萄大小,皮的口感也像葡萄,但是味道像李子,子也長得像李子的水果。

那棵樹附近還有一棵假櫻桃樹,因為看起來像莓子,可是吃起來像櫻桃。
感謝德國人不把果子摘光光的公德。
